Training session on European affairs:
What is happening in Bruxelles and how can you reach there?

In order to mark the day of Europe, The European Institute for Participative Democracy – Qvorum offers to the public from Romania a special opportunity to find out how is European Union working in a practical way.

Qvorum Institute is organizing a special training session for romanian youngsters who wish to work in European affairs. Throughout this event, the participants will receive information less accessible to the larger audience, regarding the way European Union and private organizations work in a practical way, and also job and internship opportunities inside these institutions.

To whom is addressed: graduates and students, young employees in private and public sector, who are interacting/ will interact with European decision-making process throughout their professional activity.

The training sessions is led by mister Doru Franţescu, expert in European affairs acknowledged on international level.

The event wil take place on 10th may, between 10:00 and 18:00, in Bucharest.

At the end of the training, the beneficiaries will gain knowledge regarding:

· The responsibilities and the structure of the main European institutes

· Types of documents and the European legislative route

· The political actors from Brussels and the power ratio between them

· Groups of interests and lobbying practices on an European level

· The internship and job opportunities in Brussels

In order to participate at this event, a fee of 50 Ron is charged (necessary to cover the organizing expenses)

Registration procedure: send your CV at the e-mail address office@qvorum.ro, mentioning in the e-mail’s subject “Registration European affairs training session”. In order to have a proper development of the event, the number of participants is limited to 25, following a selection based on the CV.
