European Parliament: The closing of the uncompetitive coal mines from Valea Jiului has been delayed until 2018. The Romanian MEPs’ votes were divided.

The European Parliament approved a resolution through which the deadline for the closing of the mines in the European Union would be postponed up to 2018, given the fact that the first term proposed by the European Comission (October 1, 2014) was considered unrealistic.
