Qvorum Institute contributes to the modernization of Romanian society and to the development of leadership and followership spirit. Apply for Qvorum Young Leaders, programme developed in partnership with Hanns Seidel Foundation and became a vector of change.
Who are we looking for?
Teenagers with academic background in political sciences, history, administrative sciences, aged between 18 and 29 years, involved in nongovernmental organizations or community action programmes, wishful to extend their knowledge sphere regarding civic and political systems functioning both national and international.
What is Qvorum Young Leaders 2015?
The programme is structured into 3 formation sessions during 2015 (March, July and September), meant to have the participants acquainted with national and European decisional mechanisms, Romania`s political history, as well as Euro-Atlantic values.
By showing up, you will have the opportunity to meet and get in touch with experts in both national and international decision-making and policymakers; to develop representation competences and to grow your contacts network with people having a similar profile to yours. The programme also includes the realization and presentation of some community involvement together with Qvorum team.
How to enroll?
Send your CV and a motivational letter written in Romanian showing you involvement in community development projects, but also how do you schedule your personal development and professional career.

All of the applications will be analyzed by Qvorum team, having the people selected during the first stage been invited to an interview with Qvorum Institute and Hanns Seidel Foundation`s representatives.
What Qvorum Young Leaders 2015 supposes?
We are looking for teenagers concerned with their development, responsible for their professional future. In this way, to confirm the dedication and the willingness to take part in an elite programme, the attending fee is RON 200 (the tax will be paid only after receiving the acceptance answer). The organizers support accommodation, meals course expenditures for all of the modules.
The attendance will be attested by a participation certificate.

What does the formation sessions contain?
I. Democratic Values in Romania and Euro-Atlantic Space – March 2015 (2 days)
Next topics will be addressed during this session: transparence and responsibilities in governance process, decisional mechanism in Romanian system, the European model of institutional architecture, public and private actors that influence public agenda.
II. History and Politic Culture in Romania – July 2015 (2 days)
During the seminar there will be analyzed the influence of major historic events, starting from 1948, on Romania`s present and future.
III. Community Involvement Projects Presentation – September 2015 (1 day)
Each participant will elaborate during March-August a community involvement project having the opportunity to publicly present it during programme ending conference.
