Qvorum Institute targets teenagers` capability to initiate and maintain a structured dialogue with decision-makers on education and youth policies at national level.
Who are we looking for?
The target group is represented by youngsters aged between 18 and 30 years involved and interested in politic life and decisional mechanism from public institutions level, but also in career opportunities in organizations in charge of policies elaboration and implementation. The youngsters with reduced opportunities or those who have not attended Erasmus+ project have priority at selection.
What does Institutional Coaching mean?
By Institutional Coaching Programme 30 teenagers are selected, during 3 weeks, are trained and mentored to elaborate a set of proposals for the improvement of public politics of education and youth and of the consultation process between policy-makers and civil society (April 21st – April 25th, 2015). The project also contains a workshops session between youngsters and important actors from non-governmental environment and entrepreneurship during which there are presented and exercised those lobby processes necessary to political reforms and development (May 4t – May 8th, 2015). Finally, the young participants attend thematic study visits to central and public institutions, having the opportunity to interact with policy-makers (May 25th – May 29th, 2015).
The study visits in public institutions targets: Romanian Presidential Administration, Romanian Government, The Ministry of Education and Research, The Ministry of Youth and Sport, Romanian Parliament.
How to apply?
Send us your Europass CV together with a motivational letter written in Romanian, proving your involvement in civic projects and activities, your outlook on Romanian education and youth policies, as well as your expectations and how do you intend to contribute during the interactions with decision-makers.
